About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Fischer, and I want to introduce myself to give you a general background that lead me to trying mixed media along with a short resume. 

I live in Denver, NC but was raised near Pittsburgh, PA and spent approximately 10 years in Fort Walton Beach, FL. In Pittsburgh, I graduated with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and minored in computer science, so my jobs after that were mainly dealing with data analysis and management positions. While in Florida, I began scrapbooking as a hobby in April of 2014. When I saw what mixed media scrapbooking was, I just had to try and figure it out in August of 2015! At the beginning of 2019 I needed to take a break from my artistic endeavors. By April, 2022 I started into my artwork again. It has been a very amazing and messy challenge.
